The Lotus is one of the most beautiful flowers in the world. The Lotus plant grows in the water and draws its sustenance from the murky waters below. Although it draws its sustenance for the murky waters yet it rises above it. When it blooms, the beautiful little to slow or rises above the water as if to say: ‘Look at me. Although I draw my sustenance from the murky waters below I am able to rise above it and hold my head high.’ The title of this book reflects the story of man rising from the lowest rungs of the ladder being able to achieve the highest strata of society.
